Preamble

Getting a dog is a big thing. There will be a very long relationship and this relationship should be mutually rewarding. So before buying a dog you have to asses how much time and effort you are willing to give a dog. Three hours a day plus extra time for dog education and exhibitions is a realistic figure.

Dogs cost money.They need food.They need vaccinations and sometimes medications.They might need an operation. So you need an insurance –unless you are not fabulously rich.

The goal of training a dog is to get it happy and obedient. For training a dog you need knowledge and experience. Most people don´t have this. Therefore you and your dog must go to school. It is called dog-school. That is a misnomer.It is an owner-school. It takes more character and will out of you to become a good master, than for your dog to be obediant.

I have had two dogs before in my life. First a Labrador and later a Doberman. I am proud to state that my Doberman was a happy and well-trained dog. I commit myself to make my new dog MAYA happy and obedient. If I am succesfull I will have enormous love in return.
